Mullein

 
Mullein is a well-trusted supportive herb for airway comfort: demulcent (soothing), expectorant (helps move mucus), with anti-inflammatory and some antimicrobial activity in lab studies.

For smokers, using mullein as a tea, steam, tincture or chest rub can help symptoms; smoking mullein still carries risks and doesn’t make inhaling combustion products safe — don’t rely on it as a cessation therapy.
